Preparing America’s students with the skills they need to get good jobs and compete with other countries relies increasingly on interactive, personalized learning experiences driven by new technology. Yet preparing American students for the increasingly competitive world is threatened by The Connectivity Gap – fewer than 30% of America’s schools have the broadband they need to teach using today’s technology.
E-Rate USA is determined to eliminate this Connectivity Gap by placing next generation technology in American classrooms, by way of the E-Rate Program – a program established by the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) to provide affordable telecommunications services to eligible American institutions of education.
